A New Year's Day Wedding Full of Love, History, and Heart | Colette + Preston
There’s just something magical about starting the year off with a wedding—especially when it’s wrapped in love, history, and a whole lot of heart.
On January 1st, Colette and Preston said “I do” inside a breathtaking historic church, the kind with soaring ceilings, beautiful woodwork, and a timeless charm that made the perfect backdrop for their vows. There was a quiet reverence in the space, like it knew how special this day was.
After the ceremony, guests made their way to a truly unique reception location: an old octagon barn full of rustic beauty and stories of its own. The mix of old-world charm and new love made everything feel extra magical.
The day was cold and touched with off-and-on light rain, but it only added to the cozy, romantic atmosphere. Umbrellas popped open, jackets were wrapped a little tighter, and there was something really beautiful about the way everyone leaned into the day with joy.
