In the realm of photography, there is something truly magical about documenting the journey of love. As a photographer, I have been fortunate enough to witness and capture countless beautiful moments, but there is one particular story that holds a special place in my heart. Today I want to share with you the story of this couple whose engagement session I had the honor of photographing and whose upcoming wedding I eagerly anticipate this fall. Join me as I recount their love story, the joyous moments we captured during their engagement session, and the anticipation of their upcoming nuptials at the Portland LDS Temple.

Jared and Rebecca were married in the Portland Oregon Temple. You know the big white castle with the golden man on top. You can see it from I-5 in Lake Oswego. If you have driven I-5 you have to have seen it. I was not able to photograph the actual ceremony and that is okay, because the Temple is a sacred place for Jared and Rebecca. I took the first look and the pictures around the grounds after they were sealed (married). I have experience with temple weddings, the best picture is when the temple is in the background with the couple standing in front of the reflection pool. I swear! Google “LDS temple pictures” and there will be picture after picture of this shot. All year around the flowers are flawless nurtured to sublimity. The grounds are clean, people are still and reverent. Jared and Rebecca are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
