Meet Dean | Oregon City Family Photographer

I recently got to take a fellow photographer’s, Delyse from DRB Photography lifestyle session. What is a lifestyle session? I am happy that you asked. It is when I come to your home and snapshot you in your daily life. Watching your kids play, intimate moments with a newborn in their fresh nursery, raw real emotional moments. I believe it tells the real story of you guys. I can pose people and ask them to put their hands in their pockets and smile all day long, but when I am in your home there is a genuineness that comes with it. That is because you are doing what you do everyday and I just capture the beauty of it.
Delyse and her husband Phil had their third child Dean. I’ll tell you what, I was on Dean’s turf that day and he made me prove to him that I had what it took to photograph his beautiful family. His Mom and Dad trusted me from the beginning, but why not him? At first he was a little rambunctious showing off by being the prince of the event crying most of the way. He must have known how handsome he looked. He wore a classy blue striped jumpsuit. You can never go wrong with one of those. His hair was slicked down. Kind of looked like his big brother. After a while he believed in me, must have been the magic sauce he was given from his momma. Delyse takes my family pictures and this must have been payback for all the times my kids did not act like perfect angels. When I take another photographer’s pictures it gives me a different kind of pressure but Delyse and Phil were in great spirits and kept me laughing the whole time. It really meant a lot that they chose me to take their pictures. I want to say thank-you to Delyse and Phil for being in the moment with your family and making me laugh the whole way through.
